Following is the transcript of remarks by the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, at a media session after attending two radio programmes today (January 20):

Reporter: Mr Chief Secretary, are you willing to serve Hong Kong for another five years, no matter who will lead Hong Kong and whatever appointment you may be offered?

Chief Secretary for Administration: I stand ready to serve Hong Kong and its people, provided that the next Chief Executive considers me suitable, appropriate and capable of carrying out my job in whatever position. My heart is always with the Hong Kong community and with the Hong Kong Government.
