Appointments to Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Advisory Committee and Process Review Panel for the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority

The Financial Secretary (FS), in exercise of his authority under the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance (Cap. 485) (MPFSO) delegated by the Chief Executive (CE), has appointed Mr Dennis Ho Chiu-ping, Dr Bankee Kwan Pak-hoo, Ms Janet Li Tze-yan, Ms Doris Lian Shaodong, and Mr Yau Yiu-shing as members of the MPFSAC. He also reappointed Mr Lee Wing-man, Dr Billy Mak Sui-choi, Mr Emil Yu Chen-on and Ms Helen Zee as MPFSAC members. The appointments and reappointments will take effect on March 30, 2023, for a term of two years until March 29, 2025, both dates inclusive.
At the same time, the FS, in exercise of his authority delegated by the CE, has reappointed Mr Allen Lau Kai-hung and Ms Grace Yu Ho-wun as members of the PRP-MPFA. The reappointments will take effect on April 1, 2023, for a term of two years until March 31, 2025, both dates inclusive.
The Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Mr Christopher Hui, welcomed the above appointments. He said, "The MPFSAC and the PRP-MPFA comprise members from various sectors. With a good mix of expertise and experience, I am confident that the serving and the newly joined members will help provide valuable advice to the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) on its effectiveness and transparency in the discharge of statutory and regulatory functions."
Mr Hui also expressed gratitude to the outgoing members of the MPFSAC, namely Mr Karson Choi Ka-tsan, Ms Chow Yuen-yee, Dr Pan Pey-chyou, Mr Philip Tsai Wing-chung and Ms Winnie Wong Chi-shun, for the dedicated services during their tenure.
