Asia Cultural Co-operation Forum 2022 concludes with great success (with photos)

     The Asia Cultural Co-operation Forum (ACCF) 2022 organised by the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau was successfully concluded today (December 15). ACCF 2022 has accomplished a remarkable achievement with the largest number of participating countries (21) and overseas delegations (14) since its establishment in 2003. 
      
     The Chief Executive, Mr John Lee; the Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Kevin Yeung; and the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China, Mr Hu Heping, exchanged ideas and shared views on boosting cultural co-operation with other participating cultural ministers and senior officials at the Ministerial Panel yesterday (December 14).

     During ACCF, Mr Kevin Yeung, and the Permanent Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Joe Wong, held bilateral meetings with representatives from 11 Asian countries, to exchange views on cultural co-operations.
      
     The participating delegations visited the Hong Kong Palace Museum and the M+ Museum of the West Kowloon Cultural District. They attended the Hybrid Plenary on "Revitalisation and Conservation of Historical Heritage" this morning. The Under Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Raistlin Lau delivered a speech at the Plenary. The Plenary consists of four presentations which mainly discussed the development of Hong Kong’s diverse and valuable heritage assets.
      
     In the afternoon, the delegations also attended the Hong Kong Arts Development Council Roundtable and visited Art@Harbour and the Pokfulam Village to learn more about the "Mid-Autumn Festival – The Pok Fu Lam Fire Dragon Dance", one of the Intangible Cultural Heritage items.
