Information Services Department takes part in Hong Kong Book Fair 2017 (with photos)

     The Information Services Department (ISD) is taking part in this year's Hong Kong Book Fair, to be held from today (July 19) to July 25 under the theme "Cool Summer Reading".

     Around 100 government titles, CDs, VCDs and DVDs will be on sale at the fair, with 41 being sold at a 25 per cent discount including the newly published yearbook "Hong Kong 2016".

     A number of specially priced books will also be on sale this year, including the "Hong Kong Culture Snapshot" series, "Entering a New Era" and "The Temple Gardens of Hong Kong", with discounts ranging from 50 to 85 per cent.

     Customers buying publications at the ISD booth may pay for items in cash or with an Octopus card, and will receive a specially designed souvenir in return.

     To help save the environment, plastic bags will not be handed out at the booth. Purchasers are asked to bring their own carry bag.

     The ISD booth is located at Stall B38 in Hall 1B of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wan Chai.
