Appointments of members of Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education

The Home Affairs Bureau thanked outgoing members, Mr Andrew Fan Chun-wah, Miss Sammi Fu Hiu-lam, Miss Hung Wing-ki, Mr Roger Kwan Ho-yeung, Miss Bella Lo Sung-yi, Ms Helen Lu Hai and Mr Tang Kwong-shing for their contributions during their term of service.
New members appointed are Ms Chan Wing-man, Mr Allen Che Wai-hang, Mr Karson Choi Ka-tsan, Mr Andy Kwok Wing-leung, Miss Leung Yan-yan, Mr Frederick Poon Siu-chi and Mr Yiu Chun-kai. Re-appointed members are Mr Mac Chan Ho-ting, Mr Jonathan Chan Pok-chi, Mr Lai Chin-hong, Mrs Christine Lau Ma, Ms Fonnie Leung Fung-yee, Mr Robert Andrew Lui Chi-wang and Mr Henry Tong Sau-chai.

The official members of the CPCE include representatives from the Home Affairs Bureau, Education Bureau, Information Services Department, Department of Justice, Social Welfare Department, Hong Kong Police Force, Radio Television Hong Kong and Independent Commission Against Corruption.
The CPCE is a non-statutory advisory body tasked to promote civic education outside schools. It advises the Government on the objectives and scope of civic education, promotes civic education outside schools through a range of publicity and educational programmes, and sponsors eligible organisations to carry out civic education projects.
