This year's "Window: Hong Kong" features a variety of films showcasing talents from Hong Kong: "G Affairs" by Lee Cheuk-pan, "No. 7 Cherry Lane" by Yonfan, "Still Human" by Oliver Chan, and "Three Husbands" by Fruit Chan. Each film demonstrates different aspects of Hong Kong life, as well as the diverse range of aesthetic perceptions and the technical skills of our Hong Kong film talents.
The Director of HKETO Berlin, Mr Bill Li, spoke at one of the Hong Kong screenings on September 28 (Zurich time), highlighting the importance of the film industry for Hong Kong's development as a value-added and diversified economy. "We will promote further development of the local film industry, and nurture more talents. We also welcome film production professionals from around the world including Switzerland to work in Hong Kong," he said. Mr Li also updated the audience about the latest situation in Hong Kong, and assured the international community that Hong Kong would bounce back through pragmatic solutions.
