Approved Ma Tau Kok Outline Zoning Plan amended

The amendments mainly involve the amendments of the building height restriction of a "Government, Institution or Community" ("G/IC") site at Lung Kong Road from five and eight storeys to 60 metres above Principal Datum to facilitate a redevelopment proposal for welfare uses; rezoning of a site at the junction of Ko Shan Road and Shansi Street mainly from "G/IC" to "Residential (Group A)3" for public housing development; and various amendments to reflect the latest planning circumstances. Opportunity is also taken to amend the Notes and Explanatory Statement of the OZP to reflect the above amendments and to update the general information of various land use zonings.
The draft Ma Tau Kok OZP No. S/K10/23, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters of the Planning Department in North Point and Sha Tin, the Kowloon District Planning Office and the Kowloon City District Office.
Any person can make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Board on or before May 9. Representations made to the Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft Ma Tau Kok OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
