President Xi attends dinner at Government House (with photos/video)

     President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan attended a dinner at Government House hosted by the Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, this evening (June 29).

     Greeting them on arrival were Mr Leung and his wife Mrs Regina Leung and the Chief Executive-elect, Mrs Carrie Lam, and her husband Mr Lam Siu-por.

     After arriving in Hong Kong this afternoon, President Xi met with Mr Leung and members of the executive arm, the legislature and the judiciary.

     He also visited the West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD) and witnessed the signing of the collaborative agreement of the Hong Kong Palace Museum, while his wife Peng Liyuan visited a kindergarten in Kowloon Tong.
