Enhanced leisure angling ancillary facilities open at Central and Western District Promenade (Central Section) (with photos)

     The leisure angling ancillary facilities in the Central and Western District Promenade (Central Section) under the management of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) have been opened for public use following the completion of enhancement works.
 
     The enhanced angling ancillary facilities include fishing rod holders, benches, arbours and water dispensers to enable members of the public to take part in angling activities in a more pleasant environment. Educational display panels on good practices and safety rules for leisure angling have also been installed at the promenade.
 
     The Central and Western District Promenade (Central Section) is conveniently located and adjacent to the Tamar Park, the Central Piers and the Star Ferry Pier with the provision of facilities such as a kiosk and toilets. It is easily accessible by MTR, tram, bus or minibus.
