The agenda of the Legislative Council (LegCo) meeting, scheduled for tomorrow (June 22) at 11 am in the Chamber of the LegCo Complex, has been revised. In addition to the original items, the President of LegCo has given permission for Ms Claudia Mo to move two proposed resolutions under section 34(2) of the Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance.
The first proposed resolution seeks to repeal the Public Health (Animals and Birds) (Animal Traders) (Amendment) Regulation 2016 (the Regulation) and the Specification of Public Offices (Amendment) Notice 2016 (the Notice). The second proposed resolution seeks to amend the Regulation.
Ms Claudia Mo will withdraw her two proposed resolutions if Mr Tommy Cheung's proposed resolution to extend the period for amending the Regulation and the Notice is passed at the meeting.
