The spokesperson for Kowloon East Cluster (KEC) today (November 24) announced the temporary service relocation of Tseung Kwan O (Po Ning Road) General Out-Patient Clinic (GOPC) (address: G/F, 28 Po Ning Road, Tseung Kwan O) to the Ground floor of the Ambulatory Care Block in Tseung Kwan O Hospital from December 1 (Monday) due to the renovation works of the clinic to improve its facilities and environment. The consultation times of the clinic will remain unchanged (details are appended). The renovation is scheduled to complete in September 2015.
According to the spokesperson, patients with chronic illnesses or requiring nursing care services including wound care and medication injection services have already been informed and arranged to attend follow-up appointments at the relocated clinic (address: G/F, Ambulatory Care Block, Tseung Kwan O Hospital, 2 Po Ning Lane, Hang Hau, Tseung Kwan O; Tel: 2191 1083) during the renovation period. Patients with episodic illnesses are advised to make appointments via the telephone appointment system as usual.
"KEC has already informed the residents in the district on the service arrangements through various channels, including poster notices and information leaflets as well as briefing respective District Councillors. Reminder messages will also be added to the Tseung Kwan O (Po Ning Road) GOPC telephone appointment system," the spokesperson added.
