Prospects Theatre to perform "Happy To Gather" in May
*****************************************************

Prospects Theatre will perform the promising playwright Or Ka-kee's "Happy To Gather" in May.

"Happy To Gather" is a story, but not one about love, involving a 50-year-old professor, Bill, and a 25-year-old nurse, Maggie. Bill feels youthfulness coming from Maggie, while Maggie understands what it means to be cared for and looked after through Bill.

"Happiness is being together, even if I am younger than you by a quarter of a century," says Maggie, but the two cannot hug forever.

One of the programmes in Prospects Theatre's "Playwright Scheme VI 2011", the production is directed by Tam Hung-man. The cast includes Chan Suk-yi, Ng Kit-yan, Shirlee Tsoi and Cheng Ka-chun.

Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, "Happy To Gather" will be performed in Cantonese at 8pm from May 10 to 12 (Thursday to Saturday) and at 3pm on May 12 and 13 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Cultural Activities Hall, Shatin Town Hall. Tickets priced at $150 are now available at URBTIX outlets, on the Internet and by credit card telephone booking. Half-price tickets are available for senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and their minders, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients. (Limited tickets for full-time students and CSSA recipients are available on a first-come, first-served basis.) A maximum discount of 20 per cent is offered for the group booking package.
