The Government announced today (February 19) the commencement of a global recruitment exercise for the next Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).

"A comprehensive search will be conducted both locally and overseas to identify the most suitable candidate to succeed Mr Martin Wheatley who will leave the SFC in June 2011," he said.

Advertisements for the post are published in the local and international press starting today.  An executive search firm has been engaged to broaden the network of search and assist in the recruitment exercise.
