Shenzhen Wenjindu Port Passenger Clearance service to be suspended
*********************************************************

The Shenzhen Wenjindu Port Passenger Clearance Area will be closed for reconstruction from February 22, 2010, to August 2012, but the Cargo Clearance Area will not be affected.  The opening hours of Wenjindu Port will remain as 7am to 10pm

Man Kam To Control Point of Hong Kong would also make corresponding arrangements to minimise the inconvenience to travellers, a government spokesman said today (February 11).

During the closure of Wenjindu Port Passenger Clearance Area, all clearance services for passengers of cross-boundary buses and private cars will be suspended, except the clearance service for goods vehicles.

To reduce the impact on cross-boundary students, special arrangements have been made and exclusive clearance service will be provided at Wenjindu Port and Man Kam To Control Point.

Affected cross-boundary buses and private cars have been directed to use other cross-boundary control points.  Cross-boundary visitors should plan their trips well in advance and check the latest traffic conditions through various channels.
