Music video of anti-drug theme song released (with photos)
**********************************************************

The music video of the theme song of the Territory-wide Campaign Against Youth Drug Abuse 2009 was released today (December 7).

The release came at an event at Ocean Terminal, Tsim Sha Tsui, held by the Narcotics Division of the Security Bureau, the Action Committee Against Narcotics, Commercial Radio 2 and Skyhigh Creative Partners.

The theme song of the campaign, sung by the popular music duo FAMA, is adapted from a song by Sam Hui. The lyrics incorporating anti-drug messages were written by Sam Hui, Skyhigh Creative Partners and FAMA. It is hoped that the anti-drug messages embedded in the song can reach out to young people through music that they like.

The event began with a performance by the anti-drug dance squad. The duo, FAMA, then invited the audience to play anti-drug games - an anti-drug tongue twister and anti-drug SMS competition. The winners were awarded a DVD of the theme song with FAMA's autographs. At the end of the event, the music video of the theme song was broadcast on a giant TV screen at Ocean Terminal, attracting a large crowd.

The music video of the campaign's theme song has been uploaded onto Narcotics Division's website: www.nd.gov.hk .
