Following is a transcript of remarks (English portion) made by the Secretary for Food and Health, Dr York Chow, at a media stand-up session after attending the press conference on the public consultation on the Electronic Health Record Sharing System today (December 12):
Reporter: (On naming the private hospital involved in the medical incident.)
Secretary for Food and Health: Normally we do not name any private hospitals if they have a suspected sentinel event reporting. But in this case, the Department of Health suspected and had later confirmed that the hospital should have received the information four months ago.
