AT 10 P.M., THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION OVER THE CENTRAL PART
OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA WITH MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS OF
ABOUT 55 KILOMETRES PER HOUR NEAR ITS CENTRE WAS LOCATED AT
16.5 DEGREES NORTH, 115.7 DEGREES EAST. IT IS FORECAST TO
MOVE WEST AT ABOUT 18 KILOMETRES PER HOUR IN THE GENERAL
DIRECTION OF THE VICINITY OF HAINAN ISLAND AND THE CENTRAL
TO NORTHERN PARTS OF VIETNAM.
