LOCAL WEATHER FORECAST

HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.


 
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH UPPER-AIR
DISTURBANCES ARE AFFECTING THE VICINITY OF THE PEARL RIVER
ESTUARY. LOCALLY, THE SHOWERS IN THE EVENING BROUGHT MORE
THAN 10 MILLIMETRES OF RAINFALL TO THE NORTHWESTERN PART OF
THE NEW TERRITORIES.


 
AT 8 P.M., SEVERE TROPICAL STORM BEBINCA WAS CENTRED ABOUT
680 KILOMETRES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF OKINAWA. IT IS FORECAST TO
MOVE NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 25 KILOMETRES PER HOUR TOWARDS THE
VICINITY OF THE RYUKYU ISLANDS.


 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW


 
MAINLY CLOUDY WITH A FEW SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. THE
MINIMUM TEMPERATURE WILL BE ABOUT 27 DEGREES TOMORROW
MORNING. VERY HOT WITH SUNNY PERIODS DURING THE DAY. THE
MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE WILL BE AROUND 33 DEGREES. LIGHT WINDS.


 
OUTLOOK : A FEW SHOWERS IN THE FOLLOWING COUPLE OF DAYS.
HOT DURING THE DAY. SUNNY PERIODS AND ONE OR TWO SHOWERS ON
MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL AND THE DAY AFTER.
