THE OUTER RAINBANDS OF SUPER TYPHOON YAGI ARE BRINGING
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE COAST OF GUANGDONG.
LOCALLY, MORE THAN 5 MILLIMETRES OF RAINFALL WERE RECORDED
OVER MOST PARTS OF THE TERRITORY THIS MORNING, AND RAINFALL
EVEN EXCEEDED 30 MILLIMETRES OVER THE NORTHERN PART OF THE
NEW TERRITORIES. MEANWHILE, THE NORTHEASTERLY MONSOON IS
AFFECTING SOUTHEASTERN CHINA.
AT 5 A.M., YAGI WAS CENTRED ABOUT 300 KILOMETRES
EAST-SOUTHEAST OF HANOI AND IS FORECAST TO MOVE
WEST-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 18 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS BEIBU
WAN AND TOWARDS THE NORTHERN PART OF VIETNAM.

MAINLY CLOUDY WITH SHOWERS AND A FEW SQUALLY THUNDERSTORMS.
SHOWERS WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES AT FIRST. THE MAXIMUM
TEMPERATURE WILL BE AROUND 31 DEGREES. FRESH EASTERLY
WINDS. STRONG OFFSHORE AND ON HIGH GROUND AT FIRST,
OCCASIONALLY REACHING GALE FORCE ON HIGH GROUND. WINDS WILL
