THE OUTER RAINBANDS OF TROPICAL CYCLONE YAGI ARE BRINGING
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE COAST OF GUANGDONG.
MEANWHILE, THE NORTHEASTERLY MONSOON IS AFFECTING
SOUTHEASTERN CHINA.


 
AT 4 A.M., SUPER TYPHOON YAGI WAS CENTRED ABOUT 600
KILOMETRES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF HONG KONG AND IS FORECAST TO
MOVE WEST-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 18 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS
BEIBU WAN AND TOWARDS THE NORTHERN PART OF VIETNAM.


 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TODAY


 
MAINLY CLOUDY WITH SHOWERS AND A FEW SQUALLY THUNDERSTORMS.
SHOWERS WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES AT FIRST. TEMPERATURES WILL
RANGE BETWEEN 26 AND 30 DEGREES. FRESH EASTERLY WINDS.
STRONG OFFSHORE AND ON HIGH GROUND AT FIRST, OCCASIONALLY
GALE FORCE ON HIGH GROUND. WINDS WILL WEAKEN GRADUALLY.
SEAS WILL BE ROUGH WITH SWELLS.


 
OUTLOOK : IT WILL BE BRIGHTER AND SHOWERS WILL EASE OFF
