LOCAL WEATHER FORECAST

HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.


 
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH A BROAD TROUGH OF
LOW PRESSURE ARE AFFECTING THE COAST OF GUANGDONG AND THE
NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA.


 
AT 4 P.M., TROPICAL DEPRESSION JONGDARI WAS CENTRED ABOUT
180 KILOMETRES WEST-NORTHWEST OF OKINAWA. IT IS FORECAST TO
MOVE NORTH AT ABOUT 25 KILOMETRES PER HOUR TOWARDS THE EAST
CHINA SEA.


 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW


 
CLOUDY WITH SHOWERS AND SQUALLY THUNDERSTORMS. SHOWERS WILL
BE HEAVY AT TIMES TOMORROW. TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE BETWEEN
26 AND 29 DEGREES. MODERATE TO FRESH SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS,
OCCASIONALLY STRONG ON HIGH GROUND.


 
OUTLOOK : THERE WILL STILL BE SHOWERS AND A FEW SQUALLY
THUNDERSTORMS ON WEDNESDAY. SHOWERS WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES
AT FIRST. SHOWERS WILL EASE OFF GRADUALLY AND THE WEATHER
WILL IMPROVE IN THE FOLLOWING COUPLE OF DAYS. IT WILL BE
VERY HOT DURING THE DAY IN THE LATTER PART OF THIS WEEK.
