S for S deeply saddened by passing of Senior Inspector of Police

     The Secretary for Security, Mr Tang Ping-keung, today (December 10) was deeply saddened by the passing of a male Senior Inspector of Police. The officer lost consciousness during an advanced selection assessment for the Police's Special Duties Unit days earlier. He was conveyed to hospital but unfortunately passed away today.

     Mr Tang said, "I extended my deepest condolences to the officer's family. The Security Bureau and the Police will make every effort to provide necessary support to help his family through this difficult time."
