SCST congratulates Siobhan Bernadette Haughey on winning bronze medal at Paris Olympics

     The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Kevin Yeung, today (July 29, Paris Time) extended his congratulations to Hong Kong swimming athlete Siobhan Bernadette Haughey on winning a bronze medal in Women's 200m Freestyle at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

     Mr Yeung said in Paris, "Siobhan Bernadette Haughey went to full lengths and claimed a medal. Together with other Hong Kong citizens, I cheer for her with excitement. She is also commendable for winning in two consecutive Olympic Games. I wish Hong Kong athletes more sterling results in the Paris Olympics."

     The Hong Kong, China Delegation has so far won two medals, the details are as follows:
