ýÿýÿýÿýÿýÿPolice are investigating a murder case happened in Sheung Shui yesterday (June 22) afternoon in which a woman died.

ýÿýÿýÿýÿ At 5.23pm, Police received a report from a man that his 56-year-old girlfriend was injured and collapsed in a flat in Wah Min House, Wah Sum Estate.

ýÿýÿýÿýÿýÿPolice officers sped to the scene and found the woman lying in the flat. Sustaining multiple injuries, she was certified dead at scene.

ýÿýÿýÿýÿýÿInitial investigation revealed that the deceased allegedly had a dispute with her boyfriend and was assaulted by him with hands. Police arrested the 59-year-old man for murder at scene. He is being detained for further enquiries.

ýÿýÿýÿýÿýÿPost-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.
