Fatal traffic accident in Yau Ma Tei

At around 11.32pm, the 69-year-old man was driving a private car along Waterloo Road westbound. Upon approaching Yau Ma Tei Fire Station, he reportedly lost control of his car and rammed into the fire station.
Sustaining serious leg injuries, the man was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 0.24am today (June 2).
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West is underway.
