Commissioner for Tourism visits tourist attractions during 2024 Labour Day Golden Week of the Mainland (with photos)

     ýÿThe five-day 2024 Labour Day Golden Week of the Mainland (Golden Week) begins today (May 1) and the Commissioner for Tourism, Ms Vivian Sum, visited major tourist attractions, including the Hong Kong Disneyland, Ngong Ping 360, Ocean Park Water World and Hong Kong West Kowloon Station Visitor Centre, to monitor crowd control management and tourist activities.

     Despite part of the day was affected by rain, the operation of various tourist attractions and ancillary services for receiving tourists was generally smooth. During peak hours of crowd flow, manpower and resources have been suitably deployed by various tourist attractions to strengthen services and facilitate crowd management.

     For the remaining four days of the Golden Week holiday, different units will continue to enhance coordination and endeavour to create a pleasant journey for tourists.
