Commissioner for Tourism monitors tourist attractions' preparatory work for the 2024 Labour Day Golden Week of the Mainland (with photos)

     ýÿýÿThe Commissioner for Tourism, Ms Vivian Sum, joined by the Travel Industry Authority, visited the Hong Kong Palace Museum and the Garden Road Peak Tram Station today (April 29) to monitor the preparatory work for receiving visitors implemented by tourist attractions, including management arrangements of people and vehicle flow such as managing visitor queues, manpower of ticketing centre, coach parking as well as boarding and alighting.
      
     ýÿýÿDuring the 2024 Labour Day Golden Week of the Mainland, major tourist attractions, including the Hong Kong Disneyland, the Hong Kong Palace Museum, Ngong Ping 360 and Ocean Park, will extend their opening hours as appropriate and adopt special measures through increasing manpower and close liaison with relevant government departments, stakeholders of the tourism industry, the MTR and bus companies, to cope with additional flow of people.
