SCST expresses sorrow over passing of Dr Eddy Li

The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Kevin Yeung, today (March 26) expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the Executive President of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Hong Kong Member Association, Dr Eddy Li, and extended his condolences to the family of the deceased.

Mr Yeung said, "Dr Li was an antiquities collector with a great passion for Chinese culture and a keen interest in photography. Not only did he strive to promote arts development over the years and spare no effort in conserving Chinese cultural relics, he also contributed valuable opinions in the Culture Commission. We are saddened by his passing."
