SCST congratulates Ng Cheuk-yan on winning first medal for Hong Kong, China in Asian Para Games

The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Kevin Yeung, today (October 23) congratulated Ng Cheuk-yan on winning a bronze medal in Women's 100m Backstroke S6 at the 4th Asian Para Games Hangzhou. This is the first medal won by the Hong Kong, China Delegation in the Games this year.

Mr Yeung said, "Ng gave it her all in the competition and won the first medal for the Hong Kong, China Delegation. It encourages many other Hong Kong athletes. I'm looking forward to seeing more breakthroughs made by Hong Kong athletes and success in more events."
