Hongkong Post to issue "A Tribute to Healthcare Workers" special stamps (with photos)

Hong Kong enjoys high quality healthcare services, and that quality is built on the dedication of the city's healthcare workers. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, frontline and supporting healthcare workers have made all-out efforts to control the epidemic and treat patients. In appreciation of the dedicated service of healthcare workers, Hongkong Post will issue a set of four stamps, a stamp sheetlet and associated philatelic products on the theme of "A Tribute to Healthcare Workers" to salute healthcare workers.
The stamp products showcase healthcare workers fighting shoulder to shoulder with the people, including doctors, Chinese medicine practitioners, nurses, other healthcare professionals and care-related supporting staff. They spare no effort to safeguard the public health of Hong Kong, manifesting the professionalism and selflessness of healthcare workers.
Official first day covers for "A Tribute to Healthcare Workers" will be on sale at all post offices from tomorrow (March 29), and on Hongkong Post's online shopping mall ShopThruPost (shopthrupost.hongkongpost.hk). This set of special stamps and associated philatelic products will be on sale at all post offices and ShopThruPost from April 18, while serviced first day covers affixed with the special stamps will be available at philatelic offices only.
A hand-back date-stamping service will be provided on April 18 at all post offices for official first day covers/privately made covers bearing the first day of issue indication and a local address. Collection points will be set up at all post offices on the same day for submission of the covers requesting the hand-back date-stamping service.
