Electrical and Mechanical Expo 2023 provides one-stop career information (with photos)

With the theme of "Inspiring Young Talent, Building Smart City", the Expo provided information on career prospects, promotion opportunities, training and continuing education in the industry. Trade representatives also offered information about various E&M industries at career talks.
The Director of Electrical and Mechanical Services, Mr Eric Pang, said that through various programmes, the EMSD has been providing comprehensive and professional training to young people, who aspire to join the E&M industry, to help them make the best of their abilities and capitalise on their strengths. He encouraged young people to join the E&M industry to pursue their goals.
As the guest of honour at the opening ceremony, the representative of the Hong Kong Electrical and Mechanical Trade Promotion Working Group and President of the Hong Kong Federation of Electrical and Mechanical Contractors Limited, Mr Rocky Poon, said that the application of innovation and technology for the E&M digitisation had driven the development of a smart city and improved the living quality of the people. He said he hoped that the Expo would help young people to learn more about the different E&M sectors and join the E&M industry to build a smart city.
The Hong Kong Electrical and Mechanical Trade Promotion Working Group, whose members include EMSD, was established in 2012 and has been committed to promoting the sustainable development of the E&M industry.
