Special traffic and transport arrangements in Causeway Bay, Jardine's Lookout and Southern District this Sunday

Special traffic arrangements

* From about 6am, Stadium Path, Caroline Hill Road northbound, Link Road southbound (uphill), Broadwood Road (downhill), parts of Tai Hang Road and Mount Butler Road will be closed in phases; and
* From 6am, all on-street parking spaces at Stadium Path, Caroline Hill Road, Hoi Ping Road and Coombe Road will be suspended.
Special public transport arrangements

In connection with road closures, the following bus and green minibus (GMB) route diversions and associated temporary relocation of bus stops will be implemented:
* Citybus (CTB) route No. 5B and New World First Bus route No. 8H will operate in a circular route mode during the event period;
* CTB route No. 11 will be diverted via Perkins Road instead of Mount Butler Road;
* CTB route No. 41A will be diverted via Gloucester Road, Canal Road East and Stubbs Road instead of Tai Hang Road;
* Cross-harbour bus route No. 936 will be truncated at Tung Lo Wan Road opposite St Paul's Hospital;
* GMB route Nos. 5 and 30 will be diverted via Wong Nai Chung Road and Morrison Hill Road instead of Link Road;
* GMB route No. 14M on its uphill journey will be diverted via Wong Nai Chung Road instead of Link Road, and on its downhill journey will be diverted via Tung Lo Wan Road and Leighton Road instead of Broadwood Road; and
* GMB route No. 24M will be diverted via Tung Lo Wan Road and Leighton Road instead of Tai Hang Road.
The TD anticipates that the traffic in the vicinity of the affected areas will be congested. Motorists are advised to avoid driving to the affected areas. In case of traffic congestion, motorists should exercise tolerance and patience, follow the Police's instructions and be alert to the latest traffic news through the media.
Public transport operators will display notices to inform passengers of the temporary arrangements. Franchised bus companies concerned will also upload the details of the temporary service adjustments onto their websites and mobile applications for passengers' information. Commuters using public transport are advised to pay attention to the arrangements of route diversions and suspensions and relocations of stops. The TD and the Police will closely monitor the traffic situation and implement appropriate measures whenever necessary.
