SCST congratulates Siobhan Bernadette Haughey on winning silver medal

The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Kevin Yeung, today (December 15) congratulated Hong Kong swimming athlete Siobhan Bernadette Haughey on winning a silver medal in the Women's 100m Freestyle at the 16th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) 2022.

Mr Yeung said, "With her unparalleled strength and spirit of striving for excellence, Siobhan Bernadette Haughey has triumphed in the competition. Haughey won a medal in the same category for two consecutive Championships, demonstrating extraordinary capability. I am proud of her outstanding performance and wish her the best in upcoming events."
