Secretary for Health undergoing home quarantine

A spokesman for the Health Bureau said today (December 15) that the Secretary for Health, Professor Lo Chung-mau, is undergoing home quarantine in accordance with the guidelines of the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health, as a family member in his household has tested positive for COVID-19. Professor Lo will work from home during the quarantine period.

Professor Lo has been taking COVID-19 nucleic acid tests regularly and the result from the test taken yesterday is negative. Meanwhile, he has also been taking COVID-19 rapid antigen test (RAT) every day, and the result of RAT taken today is also negative. He has worn masks and followed relevant disease prevention measures at work.
