Appointment of Chairman and Vice-chairman of Estate Agents Authority announced

The Government announced today (August 3) the appointment of Mr Simon Siu Chak-yu as the Chairman and Ms Jane Curzon Lo as the Vice-chairman of the Estate Agents Authority (EAA) with a term of office from July 29, 2022, to October 31, 2023.

The Secretary for Housing, Ms Winnie Ho, expressed gratitude to the former Chairman, Ms Elaine Liu Yuk-ling, for her contributions to the EAA. "Ms Liu's exemplary leadership, insightful counsel and dedication have been invaluable to the work of the EAA, particularly in enhancing the service standard of the estate agency trade," Ms Ho said.

The EAA is a statutory body established on November 1, 1997, under the Estate Agents Ordinance (Cap. 511) with a view to enhancing the standard of service of estate agents and the protection of buyers and sellers of properties.
