LCSD to hold Roving Sports Demonstrations For All in June and July

     To encourage people of all ages to form the habit of exercising, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) will hold the Roving Sports Demonstrations For All during weekends in June and July at various shopping malls and a performance venue. The event will introduce and demonstrate different types of sports activities with an aim of promoting the healthy message of doing exercise to members of the public.

     The Roving Sports Demonstrations For All will feature four sports, namely dance, physical fitness exercise, rope skipping and wushu. Besides introducing and demonstrating the featured sports activities to the public, there will also be display exhibition boards to help visitors understand the benefits of regular exercise, thereby promoting the "Sport for All" concept. The event is under the exclusive sponsorship of the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC), and is one of the many initiatives supported by the HKJC's approved donation of $630 million to the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) to mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR, demonstrating that the HKJC is resolute in pursuing its purpose of acting continuously for the betterment of our society, all in support of creating stronger communities together.

     The four Roving Sports Demonstrations For All will be held from 2.30pm to 4pm on the weekends of June and July in the following shopping malls and performance venue. Members of the public are welcome to join and admission is free. For details, please browse the dedicated website at
