Re-appointment to Hong Kong Tourism Board announced

The Government announced today (March 25) the re-appointment of Dr Pang Yiu-kai as the Chairman of the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) for a term of three years from April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2025.
The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Edward Yau, said, "Dr Pang has led the HKTB with dedication and vision, and guided the HKTB tactfully through unprecedented difficult times. He has steered the HKTB in formulating new and creative strategies in rebuilding the local ambience and maintaining Hong Kong's international exposure in preparation for the recovery of tourism."
Appointments to the HKTB are made by the Financial Secretary in exercise of the powers delegated to him by the Chief Executive and pursuant to section 9 of the Hong Kong Tourism Board Ordinance (Chapter 302).
The membership of the HKTB commencing April 1, 2022, will be as follows:
