Extended service hours of Joint Offices for death registration

In view of the current situation of the local epidemic, the Immigration Department (ImmD), the Department of Health (DH) and the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) today (March 24) said, currently members of the public can complete the registration of deaths from natural causes and funeral matters on the same day at the Hong Kong Island Joint Office or Kowloon Joint Office (the two Joint Offices). To facilitate members of the public, the two Joint Offices will extend the service hours with effect from tomorrow (March 25) until further notice.

At present, the service hours of the two Joint Offices are 9am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 4.30pm from Monday to Friday, and 9am to 12.30pm on Saturday. Under the special arrangement, the service hours of the two Joint Offices will be extended from 8.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 5.30pm from Monday to Saturday.
