Secretary of Commissioner of Correctional Services tests positive for COVID-19

     The Correctional Services Department (CSD) today (March 3) said that the secretary of the Commissioner of Correctional Services, Mr Woo Ying-ming, has tested positive for COVID-19 with a rapid test.

     The secretary last performed duties on March 1. She does not need to have contact with the public and had no recent travel history. She wore masks and followed relevant disease prevention measures at work.

     Mr Woo has been taking COVID-19 rapid tests every day and the results are all negative.

     The CSD will conduct thorough cleaning and disinfection at the workplace concerned, and has arranged for relevant staff members to undergo COVID-19 testing.
