The preliminary positive case found in the Aberdeen Integrated Family Service Centre is related to an Assistant Social Work Officer, who last performed duties yesterday (February 17). The preliminary positive case in the Old Age Living Allowance Centralised Team is related to a Clerical Assistant, who last performed duties on February 15, while the preliminary positive case in the Shek Kip Mei Social Security Field Unit is related to a Workman II who last performed duties on February 16. They had been wearing masks when performing duties. Their body temperatures were normal when undergoing temperature screening during work.
A thorough cleaning and disinfection has been arranged at the premises concerned. All SWD staff of the same floor will undergo COVID-19 testing and work from home while waiting for the results. For enquiries, members of the public may call the following service units during office hours:

During the pandemic, the department has been strictly implementing various disease prevention measures, including measuring the body temperature of people entering the office and providing masks and other personal protective equipment for staff. Staff members are reminded to pay attention to personal hygiene and to stay vigilant. They should seek medical advice immediately if feeling unwell.
