Suspension of counter service of Labour Relations Division (Tuen Mun Branch Office) of Labour Department with occurrence of a suspected case

     The Labour Department (LD) today (February 8) announced that, with the occurrence of a suspected COVID-19 case of an office staff, the service counter of the Labour Relations Division (Tuen Mun Branch Office) at 22/F, Tuen Mun Central Square, 22 Hoi Wing Road, Tuen Mun will be suspended tomorrow (February 9) for cleansing and disinfection of the office. All office staff will undergo COVID-19 nucleic acid test. Members of the public who have made prior service appointments with this office will be informed of the alternative arrangements individually.
 
     The LD will maintain close liaison with the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health in its anti-epidemic work.  It will continue to implement various disease prevention measures, and remind all staff to stay vigilant in regard to personal hygiene at all times. If they feel unwell, they should seek medical advice immediately and inform the department.
