Local jazz talents to present "The Present-Jazz Festival of an Inward Journey" in September

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department will present "The Present-Jazz Festival of an Inward Journey" in September, comprising two workshops and two live concerts.
Through the experience of jazz music and improvisation, "The Present-Jazz Festival of an Inward Journey" follows the path of a musical and spiritual journey of self-realisation and mind transformation to find peace of mind in an ever-changing environment.
Curated by jazz guitarist and composer Teriver Cheung, "The Present-Jazz Festival of an Inward Journey" features local young jazz talents exploring cross-disciplinary collaborations with various artists to present a multi-sensory musical experience. The two workshops will include elements of mindfulness and tea art respectively, while the concerts will cover video projection, percussion, dance, vocal and Chinese instrumental music.
