Kai Tak East Park to open on August 11 (with photos)

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced today (August 10) that the newly built Kai Tak East Park in Wong Tai Sin District will open for public use from tomorrow (August 11). Located at Sze Mei Street in San Po Kong, the park will be a pleasant and relaxing leisure space for residents nearby.

     Occupying about 11 700 square metres, the Kai Tak East Park provides diversified recreational facilities to meet the needs of people of all ages. Facilities include a children's play area, a jogging track, a fitness corner, a pebble walking trail and a community garden. In order to meet the keen demand of pet owners in the district, the Kai Tak East Park also features the second pet garden in Wong Tai Sin District and allows members of the public to enjoy the pet garden with their pets.

     Members of the public who plan to visit the Kai Tak East Park can walk from Exit B of the Diamond Hill MTR Station in about eight minutes, or take various bus and minibus routes there.
