Enforcement action taken in Yau Ma Tei and Jordan

At around 2pm today (September 6), protestors gathered and chanted slogans in Yau Ma Tei and Jordan, constituting breaches of the Public Order Ordinance and Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition on Group Gathering) Regulation. Despite Police gave repeated warnings for dispersal, protestors refused to leave and continued to stay.

Police will continue to take enforcement actions, including making arrest and issuing tickets to offenders. Police appeal to members of the public to leave the scene immediately.
