The Government announced today (April 3) the re-appointment of Mr Thomas Chan Kwok-cheung as the Chairman of the Electrical Safety Advisory Committee for a term of two years from April 6 to April 5, 2022.
 
     In this term, four new members have been appointed, and 12 members of the committee have been re-appointed. They will serve for a period of two years, and the appointments were gazetted today.
 
     The Electrical Safety Advisory Committee advises the Director of Electrical and Mechanical Services on matters relevant to the safety of electrical supply, electrical installations, wiring and products, and the safe use of electricity.
 
     The membership of the committee of the new term is as follows:
