Points to note for Hong Kong Island public procession

     Regarding the public procession to be held on Hong Kong Island this afternoon (December 8), Police have issued the Letter of No Objection. Participants are advised to follow the conditions imposed in the Letter of No Objection and to express their views in a peaceful and rational manner.

     Police are aware of online comments inciting violence and breach of the peace. Police strongly condemn such remarks. If you come across any chaotic, illegal or violent incident, please leave the scene immediately and stay in safe places. Please mind your personal safety and dial 999 to seek Police assistance in case of emergency.

     Members of the public are advised to stay tuned to Police announcements and updates on social media.
