Community thematic carnival "Super Senior" to be held in Tsz Wan Shan this Sunday (with photos)

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department will hold the "Super Senior" community thematic carnival this Sunday (May 13) from 3.30pm to 6.30pm at Tsz Wan Shan Estate Central Playground Soccer Pitch. The event will feature a variety of performances by energetic senior citizens, workshops and fringe activities. Members of the public are welcome to join in the fun with free admission.

     Artiste Lily Poon will be the emcee of the carnival. On the main stage, different music and dance performances, such as sign language songs and social dance, traditional Chinese nanyin music, a drama performance, a choral concert and band and music ensemble performances, will be showcased. Other attractions will include lion dance, Chinese traditional puppetry with juggling, mask changing and kung fu performances.
 
     There will also be a number of workshops and demonstrations for the public to participate in. These will include a paper tearing art demonstration workshop, a demonstration on blown sugar, a creative Chinese character workshop, and a tea art demonstration workshop.
