Following is the transcript of remarks at a media session by the Secretary for Transport and Housing, Mr Frank Chan Fan, after participating in the tree planting event at the West Kowloon Station of Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link (Hong Kong Section) today (May 5):

Reporter: … How do you find the amendments proposed by the pan-democrats? Do you find them really related and have the Government officials ...

Secretary for Transport and Housing: I would very much hope that the draft Bill (Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link (Co-location) Bill) would be passed by early next week. But I fully appreciate that the amendments being tabled by fellow members of the legislature are basically a show of their views and opinions rather than the material to the implementation of the law in the future.
