Government to sell site in Cheung Sha Wan by public tender

     The Lands Department (LandsD) announced today (June 23) that a site, New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6572 at the junction of Wing Hong Street, Yu Chau West Street and Wing Ming Street, Cheung Sha Wan, Kowloon, in the 2017-18 Land Sale Programme will be disposed of by public tender. The tender invitation for the lot will commence on June 30 and close on August 11.

     New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6572 has a site area of about 2,873 square metres and is designated for non-residential (excluding hotel, petrol filling station and residential care home) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 20,686 sq m and 34,476 sq m respectively. Both include the gross floor area of Government Accommodation, being a refuse collection point to be constructed by the purchaser.

     Land sale documents including the Form of Tender, the Tender Notice, the Conditions of Sale and the sale plan of the lot will be available for downloading from the LandsD website (www.landsd.gov.hk), and the sale plan will be available for distribution and inspection by the public from June 30, when the particulars of the tender will also be gazetted.
