CJ to attend judicial summit in Chongqing

The Chief Justice of the Court of Final Appeal, Mr Geoffrey Ma Tao-li, at the invitation of the President of the Chinese Judicial Studies Association and President of the Supreme People’s Court, Mr Zhou Qiang, will leave for Chongqing tomorrow (September 8) to attend the Second Summit on Chinese Judicial Studies organised by the Chinese Judicial Studies Association on September 9 and 10. He will return to Hong Kong on September 10.
The Chief Justice will deliver a speech at the opening ceremony of the summit.
The Chief Judge of the High Court, Mr Justice Andrew Cheung, will also attend the summit.
